EVERYTHING THERE IS TO KNOW ABOUT
ME REDUCED TO THESE FEW PARAGRAPHS:
While most kids showed up to seventh grade career day with poster boards, I arrived in a homemade red carpet gown with feather boa straps, mouthing along as my teacher read a script I’d written for him to introduce me as if I were winning an Oscar. I rose (shocked and humbled, of course) to accept the honor and explain why, more than anything, I dreamed of being an actor.
Since then, my answer to “Why acting?” has deepened. I’ve explored other career paths, but nothing has ever come close to giving me the energy, joy, and meaning I find in acting. There’s something singularly powerful about collaborating with others to explore the full range of human experience through story. I return to this work with a full heart, deep listening, and a sense of humor I’ve come to trust as one of the truest ways to reach an audience.
I’m a stage and film actor who thrives in collaboration and is drawn to work that is honest, playful, and deeply human. I love the precision and intimacy of working on camera just as much as the electricity of live performance, and I bring a grounded, curious presence to both. Humor, responsiveness, and a strong sense of ensemble are central to my approach—whether I’m diving into a complex role or building a moment in real time as an avid improviser.
I perform regularly as a founding member of Long Con Improv, a Santa Fe–based ensemble that keeps me quick on my feet and deeply attuned to scene partners.
I’m also an original cast member of The Misadventures of the Fateful Few, a fantasy improv epic at The Box Performance Space in Albuquerque. Improv keeps me flexible, playful, and present—qualities I bring into every scripted role as well.
My passion for using theater to connect and heal also led me to create the Anonymo/us Project, a mental health and performance program for high school students, where real, anonymously submitted stories are performed by peers. It’s funny, moving, honest—and a reminder of theater’s power to build empathy and community.
Originally from Austin, Texas, I carry with me a lifelong love for BBQ, two-stepping, and gut-splitting laughter. My curiosity about human nature led me to major in religion at Colorado College, where I received the Hastings Prize for my thesis on the philosophy of play in a Hindu tradition—an idea that continues to shape how I approach performance: with joy, reverence, and a willingness to leap into the unknown.
I now live in the mountains outside Santa Fe, New Mexico, with my husband William and our enormous, lovable Great Pyrenees, Mara. I’m also a textile weaver, hiker, camper, and someone who’s happiest when exploring—whether it’s a forest trail, a creative idea, or a character’s emotional world.
No matter the medium, I aim to bring deep listening, playful precision, and a collaborative spirit to every set and stage I’m on. And yes—there’s a good chance I’ll bring baked goods, too.
